Carri is deeply engaged with content that takes on the urgent cultural questions confronting America and the world. She worked in the White House as Special Assistant to President Obama and served as the Director of Public Engagement for Vice President Biden. She brings with her a deep rooted expertise in understanding the relationship between media, politics and culture and how it impacts a real world audience. As Co-Founder of Culture House, she is focused on challenging status quo media narratives and growing our collective cultural understanding about one another and ourselves. Select current projects include a nonfiction series about race and gender in America for Netflix, a series about Black beauty and hair and a series for Disney+ about coming of age. Carri has built and consulted on multiple strategic cultural movements, including the California-based Schools Not Prisons Tour, the SuperPAC Save The Day, the #BehindTheVote Campaign in 2016 and CANNIBIS. Her work as a Producer and Consultant has been featured on MTV, VH1, AwesomenessTV, Complex News, :ATTN, The Young Turks, Refinery29, NowThis, BET etc. Carri has designed the Culture House Consultancy to be a tool for the entertainment community at large to responsibly and creatively influence culture change through media across all genres and for all audiences.
