Jenny Koons is an award-winning theater and experiential director. She has adapted and directed everything from Shakespeare in high security prisons to intimate aerial circus at New York Fashion Week. Most recently Jenny adapted and directed OEDIPUS, a trilingual production in ASL, English, and ProTactile, in collaboration with Deaf West and the Getty Villa. She co-created and directed SPEECHLESS, the Blue Man Group's newest national tour, which premiered at Pantages and toured across North America for three years. She is a Creative Consultant for FIFA World Cup 2026 and has led workshops and created large-scale events and experiences for brands like Rag and Bone, Meow Wolf, Cynthia Rowley, and Prada. Her theatrical work has been seen Off-Broadway, regionally, and internationally at The Public Theater, Playwrights Horizons, Soho Rep, SPKRBOX Festival, among others. Jenny created a new work, Gimme Shelter, commissioned by the Toronto 2015 PanAm Games. She has taught performance and new work creation at The Public, Princeton, Juilliard, Harvard, and NYU.
