Mike has designed and delivered some of the most influential campaigns of the last decade including: #SchoolsNotPrisons, an award-winning arts and music tour to lift up the youth vote as a catalyst for change; Artists for 47, a coalition including Brad Pitt, Rosario Dawson, Jay Z and others assembled to pass California’s historic Proposition 47; the Justice Policy Network, the country’s first fellowship to increase the number of leaders in the government sector advancing a new justice agenda, and; John Legend’s #FREEAMERICA criminal justice campaign. He has served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for Californians for Safety and Justice, Legislative Deputy for then L.A. City Council member (and now Congressman) Tony Cárdenas, and Policy Advisor for the L.A. Human Relations Commission. Mike has been awarded the Justice, Peace, and Justice Award by the AFL-CIO, named one of GOOD Magazine’s top 100 entrepreneurs changing the world, and a top innovators in America by Stanford’s Social Innovation Review.
